Last Fall I had a lot of fun creating a series on helping you to build a wardrobe, now that spring is here, it's time to make some additions. Over the next week or so I'll be sharing with you some pieces I think are worth adding into your closet this Spring. Today I'll be sharing my ideas on essential layering pieces for Spring and Summer. You can see my Fall and Winter cardigan essentials here and blazer and jacket essentials here.
- First is a white blazer, I love mine seen here. A white blazer can really be worn year round, but is definitely the most versatile this time of year and it can be worn with both casual and dressy outfits.
- Next is a jean jacket. This could also be worn year round but is great for layering, especially when it's still cool in the morning or evening and can be worn with so many outfits.
- Third is a striped cardigan. I love the option below and have a similar one seen here. Light weight cardigans are great for layering this time of year, being it's time to put away your winter wool ones.
- Lastly, I recommend a white cardigan and a few bright colored cardigans; I'm showing a pink and blue, you can find them here.

Love the print of that skirt!
ReplyDeleteLove the fun print on your pretty new skirt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of tops to layer with! It's really got me thinking that I need a jean jacket. Just like a cargo jacket- it goes with practically everything! I used to have one back in the day...right next to my overalls but then I got rid of it! Remember when overalls were cool? Oh geez...!

I totally agree with all of these. I just gave away my jean jacket because it was too small for me, so I need to buy a new one. They last for years and have always been a staple in my closet!
