This outfit has so many things I'm loving this fall all wrapped into one. I've been on the look out for a navy military/utility style jacket and they seem to be sold out all over. I turned to ebay and nabbed this one up for $15 shipped and it fits perfectly.
I'm also all about the plaid scarf craze, but honestly think the idea of a wool blanket scarf sounds really hot and uncomfortable, am I the only one???? However, I picked up this light-weight cotton one last year at J.C. Penney for less than $10. Here's a super cute light-weight plaid scarf, if you feel like I do.
I showed you all this tan skirt last week that I picked up at half off and am convinced it's the best purchase I've made in a long time. Lastly, I'm excited about these boot socks I was sent to try out from Tulip, a boutique I love in K.C.
This month I get the chance to take part in their "Tulip With a Twist" challenge again. I'd love for you to stop over and vote for my look styling these fun socks on the Tulip Facebook page. Thanks a ton!

ReplyDeleteVoted for you sweet girl!! And looking fabulous and preppy!!
ReplyDeleteI voted! I ended up getting the oversized Target version of the zara scarf and I love it because it's not blanket sized. I already have issues with scarves. Give me too much and I have no idea what to do with all of it.
ReplyDeleteLove your look! It's so perfect for fall! That skirt was the best find, and I loved how the plaid scarf for a bit of texture. Looking good, Ginny!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Love your outfit as always!

I think I bought that same scarf for my sister for her birthday last year and I'm so upset I didn't get it for myself too! It's lightweight yet still really full...perfect if you ask me!

The scarf is an adorable finishing piece to this cute outfit, I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the look-I definitely agree about the heat of scarves though I also always worry I might strangle myself so I don't wear scarves as much as I'd like.
ReplyDeleteYour jacket is so cute with that scarf! For someone who is cold all the time, I have to say I like the blanket scarf, but this is a great alternative for people who aren't cold!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute preppy look! I struggle with hot scarves, too. Love the one you found!
ReplyDeleteOh...love this look. Perfect fall look. I just bought a blanket scarf and we will see if I will actually wear it as a scarf or just use it as a wrap.

This is a great look! I really love how you've been styling this skirt. I recently bought the Target plaid scarf but haven't worn it yet. I definitely think it's going to have to get colder before I start wearing it. It's cute though!
ReplyDeleteI love this skirt Ginny!! There is a girl on IG who makes similar skirts. She is Sarta Designs. I bought one over the summer and love it!! I think you finally helped me fix my no reply blogger deal!!! Thank you so much! Happy Halloween!! Susan
ReplyDeleteLove the boot socks peeking out

Ginny-How did I not know that you are in KC after following you for more than a year now. I lived in the area for 11 years and it is where I got my interior design degree prior to moving back to my hometown on the West Coast. This look is great and I love the camel color on that skirt. And just in general, I love seeing your posts even if I don't have time to comment. I know how much goes into having a blog and I really appreciate your point of view.

LOVE these colors together. I mean, is anyone really surprised? I'm always telling you about either a.) your color combination awesomeness or b.) your pattern mixing skills. There is something about a sock peeking over the top of a boot that I just adore.
