Hannah's Nursery

Things are finally complete in Hannah's Nursery, so I thought I'd share with you all today.  We didn't paint the walls, and we did a lot of bargain shopping, and I'm really happy with the results!  Now, just a few shorts weeks and she'll be here!

I'm crazy about the monogrammed letters for above Hannah's crib! I got them from Jane.com, but they came from Whimsy Timber. I painted them white, and hung them by a bow...the bow was a lot more work than I thought it would be. #notabowboss.

I found the mobile and blanket at Target and this time we opted for a simple crib sheet and bed skirt. Last time we went all out on bedding, and the comforter was basically never used and the bumpers were up for like a month.  We'e learned our lesson this time around.

We also found the bed set on Craigslist for a steal.  It's solid wood and converts into a toddler bed and full-sized bed too!

I really wanted to do a fun collage above Hannah's dresser and found the prints on Jane.com. I had the white frames, and found the rest at Hobby Lobby. The whale lamp from Gordman's was actually my first purchase and I love the whimsy it has!

One big splurge, thanks to Grandma, was the new cushion for our glider.  We had bought this chair second hand for Grant, and five years later the cushions has definitely seen better days. It wasn't cheap, but the quality is phenomenal and it was the perfect finishing touch!

I lucked out and found the laundry basket at a garage sale for $3.  We had the same style for Grant and he still uses it, so I was pretty excited to find it!

I also can't get over these cute shoes for Hannah! There are also from Jane.com and leather.  They will be perfect!

Another thing I wanted was something for organizing Hannah's bows.  I looked on Etsy, but couldn't handle the prices, so I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased this collage picture from for $10 and the little hooks for $1 and within 10 minutes I had a bow holder.

This ceramic hook is one of my favorite things!  I actually got it in Ireland almost a decade ago and just had it in the guest room, but it's perfect for Hannah! I also lucked out recently and found these three Gap dresses and cardigans on a local Facebook buy-sell-trade group for $15 total! I was stocked!  We didn't really have any "church clothes" for Hannah, so these will be perfect!

This decor is also from when Hannah's room was the guest room, so I figured it would stay. Once Hannah get's bigger I'll have to take it out for safety's sake, but it can stay now.

Getting a cube organizer from Target was definitely a good idea, along with a few cube boxes. Grant helped me go through his old toys to look for ones Hannah would love, so we have a lot of early toys ready for play!

Hannah got these two stuffed animals as gifts and I love how soft they are!  I'm all about Hannah using Grant's old things, but it's nice she'll have a few new for herself.

Now that everything is ready we now just have to hurry up and wait!

  5. It is super adorable Ginny. My favorite thing in her room is the whale lamp. I love all of her fancy dresses with cardigans and her bow organizer is neat and pretty. I meant to make one of those for Vivian but I never got around to it.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
