Sometimes, whether we want to admit it or not, life can just be too much to handle. Maybe it's the day, the situation, the person, who knows, but whatever it is sometimes we're just at a loss. That's where God comes in. He's there for us all the time, actually, but he's also there when we need him the most...when we are at a loss for how to go on. Just take a look at the lyrics to this song:
Lord, I come, I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
Without You I fall apart
You're the One that guides my heart
Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
Where sin runs deep Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
And where You are, Lord, I am free
Holiness is Christ in me
Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
Teach my song to rise to You
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand I'll fall on You
Jesus, You're my hope and stay
Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
You're my one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
With God everything is possible. We can make it though situations we'd call lost or impossible with his help, and I'm so thankful for that! Do yourself a favor and put this song onto your iTunes and let the lyrics resonate with you.

I wore this outfit over the weekend. Simple and easy, just like I like it. These booties are my new favorite thing and I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing them nearly everyday this fall and winter. We ended up finding a bedroom set for Hannah's room on Craigslist for a steal, so I'm super excited to finally be able to get our little girl's room ready.
