Ready for Christmas

I love when the house is decorated for Christmas! Today I thought I'd share it with you all.

Our tree is artificial, but I love the faux berries and pine cones on it.  Most of the ornaments have come from a gift shop in my home town....along with a lot of the other decorations.  They seriously have such a great day for a country/vintage style!

I love this little tool box with pinecones in it! I got it for like $5 last year at shop in my husbands hometown and I think the pinecones were like $2.

I really love ornaments that look antique, so Santas, snowmen, stars, and houses adorn the tree.

This lantern is from Hobby Lobby, and I actually have it out as an every-day decoration, but when I was in there recently, I saw it style for Christmas with a tree inside.  I didn't have one big one, but I think the two littler trees are fun.

I love having the stockings on the mantle!  The initial ones for Grant and Hannah are so fun!

I got this last year at Target and adore it!

Here are some more fun pieces from Hobby Lobby, Target, and the gift shop in my hometown.

I recently got this throw for $7 at Target and it's super soft!

I've had this nativity set for years. I got it the day after Christmas for an amazing deal and called my mom to see if she wanted me to get her one too. She was at a different Hallmark and was purchasing it as we spoke. Seriously.

Here are a few more antique-style Santas, so fun!

My mom got me this Nativity set years ago too.  It's porcelain and Grant broke the drummer boy when he was just learning to walk, bummer.  Next year we'll have to worry about Hannah!

I also have a few fun angels I've gotten over the years.  The three on the left are from my dear friend, Jill, who passed due to cancer a few years back, I love getting them out and remembering her!

My mom found this chest somewhere and didn't have a place for it, so it became mine. Score! Grant likes to hide things in it. The Mr. and Mrs. Claus are from when I was a kid and have seen better days, but Grant does love them.

  2. I love the idea of the little christmas trees in the lantern! Might have to do that for my lanterns.
