Accidental Copy Cat

 I was recently chatting with Andi about how I haven't really been using Pinterest for inspiration much lately, so one morning I went in to "clean out my pins." I started to delete some pins I've tried or don't really care for anymore.  Tell me I'm not the only one who does this? Anyway, a few hours later  I was getting dressed and put on this  top and these shorts.  I  liked it, but thought it needed a little something, so I threw this cardigan on top.  Cute.  Then it dawned on me, my outfit was very similar to this pin.  My brain tucked it away without even thinking about it. So, I guess I shouldn't be too quick to give up on Pinterest, because even though I pinned Tara's look like two years ago, it helped me create a really fun look today.

    I've noticed that happens to me too when I'm on Pinterest a lot! I end up wearing something so similar to a pin I really liked without even realizing it lol! This is such a cute look!

    I go on a pin cleaning spree every so often, so you are not alone. I've subconsciously committed pin looks to memory, but I often tell myself that I would've thought of it on my own, too. Hahaha. You and Andi are making me think I need a pair of pink shorts.

    I LOVE pink and navy together, especially for summer.

    Haha! I'm sure that's happened to me too, I just didn't realize it! That's a scary thought that Pinterest is toying with my subconscious...

    I never "clean up" my pinterest, because I found as soon as I unpinned something I would need it for some reason and never be able to find it again. LOL

    I've had that happen to me too! I'll think I've come up with a really great outfit on my own and then later realize it was really Pinterest who put that outfit idea on my head! lol.
