Spring is here and it has me itching to update the decor in our house. Luckily ShopAtHome has me covered when it comes to saving money, while still getting just the look I want in our living room. When it comes to updating decor, I usually find one piece as inspiration, then design around it. When I spotted this pillow I knew I wanted to use it for inspiration.  I've always been drawn to teal and orange together, so these lanterns were the perfect pair to compliment the pillows.

I also love different combinations of texture, so the rustic frame, distressed tray, rope mirror, and shiny ceramic artichoke and bird figures all add such interest to the space. I also like a few decorative pieces to add interest to the space, so I really liked the uniqueness of all these pieces too.

Lastly I picked a great neutral throw to cozy up with as well. The living room is a space we spend so much time, so having it reflect my style and be inviting is so important to me.
